Photography Project: Initial Ideas & Plan
My first inspiration was Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn. A photographer who combined two loves, photography and music, and became a photographer of music stars. I like his photos because have high contrast and large grain, maybe I will use it in my project. Anton Corbijn named his own work: ,,Capturing the Mood of the Music".(The New York Times, 2015) I think. this is a perfect description of work. I hear music in his portraits. In my studio portrait photographic project, I will definitely use the high contrast used by Anton Corbijn in post-production.

My second inspiration is the legendary photographer Richard Avedon, a brilliant creator portraits. One of The New York Times articles by Michale Kimmelman has a simple title; , Images that Burn into the Mind'. (The New York Times, 2002) This is true. When preparing my photographic project, I will try inspired his work. I really like the photos he took of the French actress Juliet Binoche. He made them for company Lancome as advertisement. Avedons series of Binoche are my favourite portrait he took. She is beautiful and sensual in them, beautiful shots.
In my studio portrait photography project, I will be taking photos of a classmate. I will be inspired by Richard Avedon and his portraits, when I take photos I will pay attention to skin tones, high contrast and grain, all the characteristic features of his photos.
