Reflection
This is my last post this semester. I'll miss the blog a bit over the Christmas break. It was a very intense semester, during which we learned a lot of new programs during Digital Arts classes. These programs are intended to make it easier for us to work on new projects in the future. During the semester, I completed several projects, including looking for inspiration to create a logo and an advertisement. There have been studies of similar works by other artists. Then came the moment of implementing the photographic project. I had to conduct research, I had to find my inspiration for work. When I found them in painting, which I like very much, I started looking for more in film, and most importantly, in photography. After all this, I started designing my website where I could post my project. Designing a website on Wix was a real challenge. I had to stop the first website design because I chose the wrong template and the bottom bar on the website didn't want to change. I started working again and carefully selected the template. It was easier for me because I had done it before. At the same time, I was already taking photos of the rural landscape with my camera. I didn't like the weather a bit, it was supposed to be foggy and cloudy. When I had time to photograph the landscape, it was sunny. When I didn't have time because I was at classes or at work, the weather was perfect, cloudy and foggy. That's why I decided to make the project in black and white so that it wouldn't be too idyllic. I did the final process of the project using the simplest photo processing tools, I used a light and contrast slider, a slider with color reduction, or a ready-made black and white filter, and then I also used only a few sliders, plus shadows and sharpening. Back to the design of my website. There was a temporary problem with the mobile website, but I carefully checked and corrected everything from the navigation bar. Then I uploaded the photos and designed cover of my project to the Portfolio. As for the time I had planned to upload the project, I had a week's delay. I waited unnecessarily for these fogs until Saturday, but instead there was snow. The process of finishing the project itself was not a problem for me. I was stressed about the website, whether everything would work well, but it turned out that after a few repairs it could be published. I am looking forward to the next semester, which will include new challenges and new projects. A bit of smart, I will finish the projects on time.
Until next term, have a peaceful and Merry Christmas!
