Creating a Website: About Me

In today's Digital Art class, we were supposed to write something about ourselves, something that would be posted on the "About Me" website, and we started the design of this website. I wrote this about myself : Anna has been traveling around the world of photography since she was little, she feels good there, she has found a peaceful home in photography, there is where she cherishes what she sees every day, immortalizing these moments with her camera. Anna always is drawn back to old photographs that she loves, taking out old photo albums with photos of her loved ones, that have she has kept with her and cherishes these memories from home in Poland. Anna knows why this beautiful land of photography is priceless, it brings back what is no longer there and what would not be forgotten without it. Anna also lives in Melton Mowbray, sometimes, as she now spends a lot time in Leicester where she has the opportunity to study what has been part of her life. Anna will be writing a new map of her photographic world. She will fallow the path of photography with the desire to make it something special that will remain for future generations.

When designing the website, I replace the photo and text sections, I think it will be better this way.

It's ready, then I paste the previously prepared text about myself.

I change the background color of the section, from black to white.

I do the same with the background on the text side, I change the color from black to white, but first I change the font color of the inserted text from white to black.

Then I change the font to "Linotype Didot" so that the text on the entire page is in the same style.

Then I post a photo that my Headteacher Zoe Van-de-Velde took for me in the studio during our Digital Arts classes. A photo on a black background, I like this photo, and it's always nice when someone else takes a photo of me, a nice change.

I insert one additional text section, and type "Meet the Artist".

Then I take care of the mobile side of the website, I check everything and arrange it so that it is clearly visible.
