Leicestershire countryside in photography. Contact sheets.
I took my photos on a walk to Scalford and in a place I like very much, i.e. the place where the ghosts of the past hid. Stapelford Park Country House, which is currently a hotel, and which, in its over 230 years of tradition, refers with its image to the dream of beautiful old England, straight from the paintings of 19th century painters, whose paintings inspired me, as well as country roads, lonely trees, wild moles rivers in the Somerset landscape from Don McCullin's photographic locations inspired me to similarly show the area around Melton Mowbray in Leicestrshire. I am posting contact sheets from my two photo walks.
The photos were taken with a Sony A II camera.
